does Plastic blades count as a knife?

Carrying something like this is going to get you in as much trouble, if not more trouble than carrying a real knife. Think about it.

1. Why the hell would you want to carry this knife?

2. Do you ever want to explain the answer to the first question to a cop or judge?

true, maybe carrying a screw driver would be better/safer haha

If your talking about self defense, then probably not. Courts, jury's, cops, and lawyers aren't stupid. In fact, carrying a screwdriver is going to look like you wanted the trouble in the first place. At least a knife you can pass off as useful tool for other tasks.

I think you will be okay with it if you live in an area that allows automatics. Just don't get caught trying to get it past airline security.

sorry about the joke. I just wanted to know what was considered to be a knife.
so I guess if it's sharp, it's a knife. Meaning any screwdriver, plastic, metal, card, paper could be a knife...?

Your not serious are you?

Expect at the very least a VERY STRONG DESIRE to question you about why you have it.

It doesn't take much for me to figure out it will get someone arrested in a heartbeat if any laws were violated.

I would keep away from airports, schools, courthouses, post offices, and any government buildings with that thing.

It sure does not look like your average letter opener to me. Razor sharp ????

A screwdriver isn't a useful tool for other tasks?? Lol, I get your point, though...

OP, just carry a real knife. What's the point of trying to get around the definition of what a knife is when a real knife will work better? Sure, a sharpened toothbrush isn't a knife, but that will make you look a lot more like some dumbass street punk and a lot less like a law abiding citizen.

plastic maybe if you want to pass through metal detectors and get on a plane but you're afraid of hijackers and want some type of self defense from them? not recommended cause even though you could be a hero; you'll probably get a weapons charge for saving lives.

I think we can close this now.
