Does SAK still make the dark burgundy/cranberry matte scales?

I used to work security at a nightclub and I obtained a SAK via contraband on a young man and have had it for about a year now. I enjoyed it so much without thinking about that I looked into getting another one specific for my needs. Right now I'm looking at getting a Manager for my key ring because I think it's the perfect size and weight without feeling too cumbersome. The model I have now I believe is a recruit which is very weighty.

The only problem I have is that the recruit comes in a deep dark red color similar to a matte cranberry, and almost every other SAK I see online comes in a bright, glossy, ruby red which is very plasticy looking. Not fond of it at all. The dark matte red looks very royal in comparison to the other ones I see online. Is this an older model I have that is no longer in production? I would love to have a small Manager in this color scheme but only see it in translucent blue/red and the glossy bright red I mentioned earlier.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I think the darker scales are from the economy line.
They don't have the Swiss cross inlaid but stamped into the handle scale.
Not sure what models are available . Try checking the Victorinox website.

the recruit is "weighty"?!?
The one I have is very light, about 1/2 the weight of a Marbles camp/scout/utility knife, lighter even than a Buck 301 Stockman.
Victorinox dot com has all the cover colors for current production SAK knives.

the darker scales are nylon, as opposed to cellidor. I don't think they are available anymore, but you might find something used.

Awhile back went to the Victorinox service factory in my area, about 40 mins drive to have the recruit scale repair which had the nylon handles. When I received the knife it was changed to cellidor scales, while in the factory store they did have the recruit for sale in nylon scales, must be phasing out the nylon scales but not sure. But did picked up a few Vics at a low price while there. GC

Did notice the stamping on the blade was different, no crossbow logo or rost frie. I've been away from the Vics for awhile. GC

These go on the eco or II lines, the economy version of their standard models. For all practical purposes, the only difference on most is the handle scales, and the implements are the same. Some differ in not having the halfway stop on the screwdriver/bottle opener, but that's about it. The interesting thing about the nylon scales, other than the swiss cross not as durable, is that in all other ways it is a better material. Celidor, the original, is a legacy plastic that looks nice but is susceptible to some chemicals, such as found in many suntan lotions and other liquids that can act as solvents to craze the finish. Nylon resists just about anything, and its slight texture, compared the smooth celidor, helps keep a grip.

Nylon scales are better all around. They are standard on all the 111mm models and you can still get nylon replacement scales, though they are sometimes hard to find. +B usually has some in stock.
