Got the little one dressed up today (finally.)

Spent entirely too much time fiddling with this yesterday, but it was a lot of fun.

I was trying to dress up the leather a little since the Silent Knight has the fancy maple scales and mosaic pins. I kept trying to decide what kind of tooling/carving to do, but in the end decided some nice dark sharkskin would dress it up plenty.

I like the way it turned out. The only thing I'm uncertain about is the retention strap. I was trying something different here, and I'll know after some use if I like it or not.

It's a lefty, so the 357 can ride strong side, just in case ;)

I am not sure I like it, please send it my way for closer inspection.

Man that is awesome!!!! Really just awesome!!!!!

What a horrible sheath. You really need to do better. LOL

Looks almost like The Joker smirking. That's pretty cool. (The Sharkskin is the widow's peak and the smirk.)

That shark adds a nice highlight; it looks like bark to me.

Absolutely stunning brother!

I like the new retention strap. No way it can get out unless you want it:thumbup:

Yeah, and I kind of got a streaking going with the antique stain, almost a wood grain effect, i like it.

The great thing about the sharkskin is that I picked it up for 2-3 dollars per skin, so you see less than 1 dollar in sharkskin material on this sheath. Man, Stingray or Alligator skin is another story!!!

The next time i run across cheap sharkskin i'll be buying more than 2...

There is still room for that Crusader cross.

I also like the look of many small leaves you have on the other one.

The Shark skin is very nice.
