does skinny ash 1 fit in spec ops brand sheaths

Glad to help. Very nice choice of knife, by the way. The magnums feel really good on the LE; I imagine they will be similar on the skinny. Should be a great combination.
 
Yes it can, but I found it to be VERY tight. I wound up dremeling off some on the spine-area of the sheath to make it work.

You can use the LARGE size and have a ton of sheath left over or use hte SMALL one and reposition the retention screw for a better fit.

Interesting, mine is actually slightly loose, without cutting any off. There's plenty of room. Are you talking about the CG ASH-1, skinny or LE?

I wonder if there are slight differences in the stitching on the sheath, making some slightly narrower than others???
 
I've got a Skinny and an LE right in my hand. Without mods, they won't fit in. I know I heat-treated one otehr Spec-Ops to fit my LE a while back and it was UBER-tight without cutting.

It's a spine cut only about 2" down. Makes drawing easy w/o compromising the sheath.
