Does Stabilizing Prevent Colour Fading

I'm just curious if anyone knows if stabilizing (both professional and home Cactus Juice) prevents colour from fading over time? I'm thinking about woods like Purple Heart, Padauk etc. I didn't see anything on Turntex's website.

Not sure anything will 100% prevent color changing. Take something like purple heart - it oxidizes and the purple gets deeper over time, I don't think it fades. Oils in the wood may still migrate a little. Stabilizing will slow it down tremendously, but not sure if it will prevent fading in all cases.

I did a set of Cocobolo handles (not stabilized) and had a good, complete finish of tru oil on all surfaces. They are much much darker 2 years later. Stuff changes, even when finished and stabilized. But finishing (and stabilizing) should minimize it.

The amount of sunlight affects speed and depth of color change. I built a set of doors for the hatchway on my 40 ft sailboat with Bocote wood and they really had a color change - got lots darker because they were exposed to sunlight, even though the bimini top was up most of time. I used the same Bocote wood for flooring the aft cabin, and while they did get darker, but not near so much as the doors which were exposed to sunlight.
