Does the G-10 Civilian come Plain Edge????

Hi Sal and fellow forumites,

Just wondering, I recently sold my Aluminum plainedge civilian to Dirk and now want a G-10 one. Does it come plainedged???? If it does I will definitely get one. Thanks.

No, unfortunately!

I had 2 plainedge aluminums at one point, but had to sell one. I now regret it very much so, as only a few hundred were ever made.

Maybe I had been staring at the monitor too long but I swear to this day I saw one for sale once, about 6 months ago, and once only, for $300. Apparently none were ever made but the scan clearly showed G10 and it was described as such so go figure...
 
I wnat a G-10 PEC as well. I sent Sal an e-mail about the chances of sending the Alum handle one (from AncientSul, thank you) and my G-10 one and switching the blades. No response as of yet. From the various discussions on a PEC where Sal has had input, Sal is not a big fan of the Plain Edge. Especially for the Civilian.

Maybe if the CFC doesn't go trough, we could get a Plain Edge G-10 Civilian done.

I do see the need for serrations if I wanted a knife with that feature. But I think the Civilian looks better without the serrations. Sal could u do this for us. Please.
