I was wondering if the Kershaw Blur 1670S30V has a safety on it?
Thank you for your responses.

No it does not. In my opinion, an assited opening folder DOES NOT need a safety. A few SOG knives I have owned in the past had a safety and it really got in the way. This is because it would lock it accidentally or in my pocket.

For what it's worth I have carried a Blur quite a bit and I find that it has a very good "closing bias". It works well as it is and I don't feel that It would need a safety. Just my opinion.

i agree with the other posts, it doesn't need any sort of safety. Its a great knife though, you will not be disappointed with it.

Personally, I think the Blur is one hell of a knife. I think it's right up there along the ZT line.

Yea I have been using the knife the past few days and I agree with you guys, it does not need a safety. I am very happy with the Blur, it is a great knife.

The kershaw blur is in my opinion one of kershaw's best. It dosn't need a safety and one would most likely get in the way.

I concur with all the above, especially the closing bias. I love this knife.
