Looking at getting a medium sized survival knife. Ideally 5.5-7 inch blade and around 3/16 thickness. I've seen a ton of stuff in 1/4 thickness but not too much around 3/16. I know there is some stuff like this out there the like esee 6 or the silent hero.

Heres the catch, I really want the blade to be persian/trailing point or at least a real aggresive bowie/clip point shape. Anything like this out there? Thanks

Yes, plenty of knives like are or have been made, and it would not be very hard to have some make exactly what you are looking for. They are often described as bushcrafting knives.

When you are ready to do this, create a post under exchange/knife wanted and let them know your desired specifications and budget. You would be surprised by numerous offers.

There's also the BK5 (if you can get somebody to part with one). It's an 8"x 3/16" trailing point

Knives ship free has Scagel knives on sale and there are some there that fit your needs I'd think!!!

The Ontario Robeson trailing point.is solid too only 4" though! ! Last time I saw it.was.under a.Franklin too!!
