Does the 'Like' function on Tapatalk app show up on the website version of BF?

I'm stuck on mobile, so can't see the web version of BF.

So if I 'Like' a post on Tapatalk, does it show up the web version of BF?

I'd like to be able to thank a poster without cluttering up the thread.

If the 'Like' doesn't work or show up on the web version of BF, is it considered proper or improper to post a thank-you as a separate response (i.e. thread clutter) to let the poster know you appreciate their thoughts?

Please enlighten me.
