Does the Natural Micarta inlay darken over time?

Currently shopping for a Inkosi. Just wondering if the natural canvas micarta inlays darken up with use?

My black micarta inkosi darkens with the oils in my hands and sweat. They dry out but go black with moisture.

Yes they will. You can clean them with soap and water that will take the darkness out.

I know they’re black and not natural, but natural will do the same. The one on the left I just cleaned with soap and water. One on the right is dirty/oily

It turns red. You can also use mineral oil if you don't like how it looks dry.
