Does the Omega spring on the SOG Terminus XR break easily and is this issue common?

no. I was kidding in your other post. they rarely if ever break and if they do it's one at a time. there is a very small chance of total failure. youre statistically more likely to trip and fall on your knife while in your hand, before both springs will break.
