I would like to get one for my dad when they are available. He likes big, tough lockbacks for use around the farm. He is a lefty though. Seems as though the prototype was drilled and tapped for ambidextrous carry.

From what Sal, and I believe Carlos also, have said in the past, yes, it will be full ambi, drilled and tapped for tip up/tip down RH/LH carry. I know I will be severely disappointed if this is not the case, this is one I'm really looking forward to. Passed up a couple really sweet deals on original model Chinooks just because of LH tip down carry option on the new one.

Thanks! I suppose the model number is going to stay the same? I've got to figure out how to differentiate when I order one.
