I think I saw someone write that some of the screws on the techno are too long so they can't be tightened to sit still.

is this a problem on more than one?

I have tried to read/watch as many reviews as I could find and haven't heard this. Where did you hear this?

I doubt a knife from Taichung (given their so far impeccable record for quality, and high level of attention to detail) would let an entire run out with inappropriate fasteners.

I found it!
" --Condition: Used (cut up some cardboard; the two smallest screws (the ones in the middle) are a little gnarly from me trying to tighten them so they can't be pushed back and forth in the handle - my other Techno does the same thing, so it can't just be tightened out though)"

Do you have a link? I don't think I've read that review.

you shouldn't have to adjust the screw length on a 170+ knife.

I agree but I think the design and raw material quality of the Techno will override my lack of desire to grind down a couple screws. Now if it's something that is unfixable IE. uneven blade grind, crappy frame lock, etc., that's totally different.
