So I was using ScrapYard's Sykco 711(SR101) 6.5 inch blade(+1 inch choil), link here............... Cut to scene two I get the Bravo 1.5 in 3V, I love it and is now my main knife, but it's just not long enough. I don't want to get the Bravo 2 in A2, I just want my 3V!!!!

So the search is on, and I have yet to find the knife I'm looking for. Steel 3V, blade length about 6.5-7, and within about $230. My google fu and Ebay fu is at it's limits. Can anyone help?

A custom maker here on the forums may be able to do what you what. Survive Knives makes a model or two in that size range though delivery is backlogged at this time. Mike

This is a size range I like quite a bit myself so I will be eager to what other folks say.

My go to blade right now is the Esee 6. I got the first production run of the GSO 7/7 in 3V. The fit, finish, sheath, everything was great but I just could not warm up to the looks enough to actually use it. Sold it here about 2 weeks ago. They will be coming out with another run of the 7/7 with some differences from the first and I plan on taking a look at that one. You might want to do the same.

I did just pick up a Bravo II in A2. I haven't used it much but plan to do so as the weather warms up and camping becomes more prevalent. It is off getting a kydex sheath made as we speak. This will be my first experience with A2.

Talk to Big Chris, one of the knifemakers on the forum. He has made several knives of that size in 3V and other steels and is a great guy to deal with.
