Ok... here's what I want:

S-Curved blade (like the civilian)
Tip-up carry
Serrated
Blade length of 3" or under

Is something like this made?

I would get a civilian but the blade is over 4" and therefore illegal for me to carry. I would love to have a Matriarch since the blade is legal for me to carry but I can't buy it since I'm not a LEO. So do I have any other options?????

*thinker*--sounds to me like you want a Emerson Commander! $ is a little steep, but *what a knife*. talk about fast openers! it's open *before* ou can get it out of your pocket. its got yer S curve, its got yer serrations, but it's 3-3/4" blade length. the Ultimate Knife (imho)!

The Merlin is under 3" but it's a hawkbill, not an S-curve. The Commander (longer) and the S-curve Cold Steel lockbacks (I think there's a small one in that series) have their S-curves with belly out at the end instead of a hook.

The Cricket is closer to 2" than 3" and has an S-curve like a baby Civilian and is one of the best little box and letter openers there is. The Meerkat, coming in some future month, will be another little S-Curve.
