I recently bought a LNIB green Salsa from an individual who was selling it for only $30 shipped. Well, I received the box a couple of days ago and lo' and behold, there were TWO Salsas in the box(blue and green)!!!!

Along with the Spydies was a note and a $5 bill. The note read that the green Salsa had been set up for left hand carry, thus the clip was over the Salsa logo. Because of this, the logo was scratched....hard to really tell at first glance though. This individual had considered the green one to be less than mint, so he sent another Salsa(NIB blue one) that he was also selling for $45, to me with the option of keeping it, as a replacement, for the same amount as I had paid for the green one. Whichever Spydie that I didn't want I could send back and use the enclosed $5 to pay the return shipping!

I couldn't pick on which Salsa that I wanted the most, so I sent an email asking how much he wanted for his "less than mint" green one. (I figured that it was already here so I might as well just buy that one too.;))

His reply?? Only $20!!!!   (my jaw dropped to the floor!) To top that off, he instructed me to add the enclosed $5 to the money order. In other words, I would have been paying only $15 for a LNIB Salsa!!! Needless to say, I raced off to the post office and sent off a money order for $20 AND his $5 bill. (I didn't feel it right to use his own money to pay for the knife.;))

In short, I got two Salsas for only $50!!! Can it get any better than that??? :D

P.S.--I've enclosed a couple of pics, with the one on the right showing the scratches that he thought made the Salsa "less than mint".

You know people like that are great, be sure to add him as a good in the GB&U he deserves it. Now how you going to carry both of them!

I definitely planned on giving him a thumbs up in the G, B, & UGLY, but I don't think that he's even a member here. :(

And to answer your question....the green one is for carry and the blue one stays in the box. ;) :D

Paul, I know that you're right. ;)

My fellow SpyderKnuts, Paul is the great guy that I have mentioned in this post and he will go the extra mile to make sure that you're satisfied with any sale or trade that he's involved in. I would not hesitate for a second doing business with him again.

Thanks again, Paul. :D
