Does this lock exist?

A lock type that locks the blade in the closed position without a secondary safety lock? I'm not particularly worried about my knives opening in my pocket or pack but I might have a use for such a thing. This would be for an easy one-handed opening/closing non-auto side folder. Maybe something like an axis or button lock that locks up in the closed position instead of just detaining the blade? Without a detent, lock operation may have to be the primary means of deployment, but i'd be OK with that, despite gravity knife legal issues.

The old Paul locks worked like this but I wouldn't call them "easy" one-handed opening. They really needed nice tuning for that to work.

The current WE Helix works just like you describe, including the need to flick it open once you disengage the lock.

The Boker Top Lock has a button lock that works like this. It's designed for two-handed opening with a nail nick, but you could probably adjust the pivot to make it more like a gravity knife.

This older CRKT opens and closes the blade, same lock.

There was some knife that had a backlock you had to unlock to open the knife as well as close it. I can’t remember what it is though....

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked them out and the WE double helix comes really close to what I was thinking of. That ambidextrous slide lock design is a big plus because I always find myself holding something in place with one hand, then needing my knife with whichever free hand. I thought about locking in the closed position because I've dropped my knife like three times within the past month and of course it popped open each time (hard floor), something I'd rather not have happen. If it was a rough-use outdoorsy type of design that would be another big plus.
