Does this look like a Kabar to you?

I was looking through Ebay when I stumbled across this.

I really can't get over how much this looks like a Kabar. What do you think? I've never heard of anything like this. If I had more cash than I knew what to do with I would snatch it up just because I think the design of it is so interesting compared to the Kabar for the time period.

Those are known as "Mexican KaBars" by collectors and were used in the 1940's - by the Mexican military, although I've never seen a full article on them. Some were imported as surplus a bit back, but it can be hard to find a nice example as most of them were pretty worn out.

Yeah. I might just pick me up one when I have too much money than I know what do with. Interesting.
 
I would almost guarantee its not from the 1800s. Cheapo knock off of a WWII 1219C2 knife
