Scam.

The whole thing is very suspicious.

1. I will like to make an Enquiry on the
Knife you have instock that you have for sale,

He wants to know about the knife you have for sale

2. let me know if you have any available for purchase

He want to know if you have anything for sale

3. forward your Website link to me so as to
make my choice,

He doesnt even have your website address but he wants to buy your knives? Where did he see that knife that he is enquiring about?

Send him an email with your website address and tell him you will only ship with UPS or FED EX and you will only accept paypal or credit card and I bet you never hear from him again.

Best bet is to just ignore it.

They seem to be better written than the previous ones, at least. I got one (in English) a while ago that seemed to have come straight from a web translator.
Maybe one day they will get to the point of fooling someone...

I was working in a mail order company for a brief period (then I came to my senses). One thing they always told us was to always watch for scammers coming out of Pacific Rim countries... and Bronx, NY. LoL! :D

Sound like he is willing to pay up front to me. I would give him the benifit of doubt, If the money order arrives ship him the knife. I have never had a problem cashing a money order.

I to like Ivan received Emails that were translated and the were nowhere near as well written or as willing to make payment in any thing but credit cards, they were for Nigeria, and wanted me to ship pre-payment reciept, :thumbdn:

If he is willing to pay up front than I see no problem, even if his shipping practices do seem different.

Lots of counterfeit money orders around lately from what I've heard... make sure you cash it before shipping if he buys!

Definitely good advice from anyone who draws suspicion. :)

Absolutely a scam. They will want to over pay you by a huge amount and then you are to send them some of the excess money along with the knife. The money orders are fakes, the couriers or agents are the UPS guy. Clues are bad spelling, broken grammer and vague references to knives. The emails are vague enough that they can insert almost any other kind of item and send the note to that web site owner or eseller of any kind. My wife got one of these for a horse saddle she was selling online recently. Almost identical in wording to yours.

I got it and told him to contact Corkum and Reif, since I was so far behind and couldn't take his order

How come no one cares enough about my knives to try to scam me? :( I feel left out! I'd love to start collecting counterfeit money orders. ;)

ahhh.I like your knives.Wont scam ya,but still like them:)

I have a good collection going now and dang don't they look like the real thing the water marks and all.
I'm looking at two right now added together just over 16,000.00 :D

tell him yes no problem at all.. ;)
let him send the M/O
when you get it, take it to the USPS and let them tell you if it's good, do not send anything to him until you have cash in hand ( i dought you will ) and do not deposit it in your bank, if it does bounce you'll have a fee to pay...it could still bounce as a money order, money orders can have a stop payment on them but normally only after a few weeks passing.. the real ones that is,,,
if they want you to ship at the same time of pick up don't..if you let him send it
at the least he'll be paying for the pickup service :D money out of the jerks pocket..if he says anything about it just tell him oh I didn't tell you it has to clear the bank before shipment can be made,,, don't yeah know there is a bunch of scams going on , and you can't be too safe now can you :D
