Does this PM 2 look legit?

Ah, yes! I noticed that last night, and totally forgot about it..

Are there any produced without them? Or is it a dead giveaway replica?

He's right. Also some other details don't look right. Looking at mine compared to the pics the scales look too big and look almost circular or square compared to mine which the scales look rectangular. The printing on the blade looks too dark in color also. Others will know better than me though. Just got mine and am still questioning whether it's real or not.:)

fake, the hole position is slightly off. The biggest give away besides missing markings is the odd lanyard tube. On a real pm2 it is flared.
 
The lanyard tube is different, the text is different, the G10 texture looks off to me. I say fake.
 
When in doubt, pass on it! There are alot of "China" made PM2 copies around on Ebay and other places nowadays! :)
 
Definitely fake. The jimping isn't right, the lanyard tube isn't flared, no Eric and Sal logos
 
YouTube search paramilitary 2 fakes. One video does a good job discussing common clues
 
Definite fake. G-10 looks very off, lanyard tube is huge, no logos. Even the writing looks funky.
 
Anybody else notice that the angle of the blade looks to be at least 20 degrees off ?
 
Definatly fake. The clip position is not right at all it should angle more toward as the lock.
Anyone agree?
 
Adding to what everyone has said (which all appear valid proof of it being fake to me as well), the tab you press to unlock it appears beadblasted wheras it's normally a highly bright satin.
 
where was this for sale? they should be informed that it's fake and/or reported if it's for sale.
 
It's a fake,don't really want to point out what's different in case the degenerate scumbags that make these are reading this.
 
I also have a question about the authenticity of my brown pm. Some back ground first, I got this knife on ebay from an American seller with over 100 sales and 100% feedback and payed 192. My concerns are the signatures, grind, radiusing of the scales, Depth style and coloration of the lettering, location of the spyder on the clip as well as its proximity to the edge or the scales. The two biggest concers are the lack of gold coloration around the lettering when light is shined and the radiusing of the scales. I plan to send it to spyderco for inspection, but would like the opinion of the community first.
