I often make knives with the philosophy of "less is more," because I am coming from a mindset of light and ultralight backpacking.
I recently made this:
OAL 6 5/8"
Blade: 2 7/8"
Cutting Edge: 2 5/8"
Thickness: +- .094"
Handle: G10, peened brass pins, brass tube, G-Flex epoxy.
Just wondering if you all think the sheath is beefy enough? I used the thinner grade of kydex, and I left minimal leather around the holes where the leather attaches. For my purposes, it would be strong enough, but I am wondering what everybody else thinks.
Thanks.
