Does this sound like too much?

I've been trying to get a good EDC together and so far here's what I have. A Victorinox Centurion, Kershaw Blur and Victorinox Swiss Tool. Over kill? I also carry a Buck X-Tract but that's for certain occassions, and I don't carry anything with it.

No. carry what you want. sometimes i carry a gun with spare mag a expandable baton 2 knives and a multitool plus a flashlight. everyone is different if you think you have a need for it then go for it, 2 multitools and a kershaw sounds very small to me. check out the edc threads and try and imagine how people fit all of this stuf onto their personage. i personally also carry a back-pack with a large camelbak bottle where ever i go.

That's it?

And that is without wallet, cell phone, smokes and on occasion a S&W m60 with one speedstrip.

No, it doesn't sound like overkill! While on my knife vacation last week I talked my knife buddy into a gray Blur which is his first ever Kershaw. He likes the heck out of it!!

Yeah, i ditched a benchmade griptilian for the blur. First, i found the grippy to not feel so solid, but its a benchmade so i put my all into it. I disliked the combo edge and felt like it was a brick in my pocket i couldnt stand. My girlfriend bought me the blur for my birthday so it deserves some pocket time. The grippy has superior steel over the blur but i don't mind that because i feel mroe comfortable with the blur and it sharpens easier. What's his blur been subjected to?

Youd be done? why are you on BF? :P

Not collecting knives, trying to get a good edc going lol. I'm a minimalist. I would rather carry a swiss champ, or maybe a super tinker/swiss tool spirit or something. I just need something easy to access with the tools id encounter camping, fishing, hunting and city life. i dont think they make those yet though lol.

Sorta depends on what you do. I keep a Becker Tac-Tool and a Leatherman Surge in my car and carry one of many folders in my pocket. The car stuff gets used rarely, but is very useful when I need it. If it was a choice of carrying all that everyday, I wouldn't do it unless I was working with the tools as a handyman, etc.

I carry a JYDII CB and a ZT0350.
I keep a Crkt M16-10KZ, Ruger .45 P90TH, and a Spyderco Harpy in my truck. (as of yesterday)

So, No. Not at all.

See, whenever I carry a multi tool on me i noticed i need it lol. I've used the scraper on my swisstool a few times this month, more than i ever thought i would. I use the phillips screw driver a lot and stuff like that. I'd drop the centurion if i could find either a horizontal sheath for the swisstool that held tweezers or just a good set of tweezers that wouldn't hang freely. I really want a horizontal sheath for my swisstool though, i carry my x-tract that way and love it.
