Does Trangia mess tins fit US ammo pouch?

Sirjames, whereabouts (if you dont mind) are you in nova scotia?, Im originally from there.

I have the Trangia and a just a single M16 pouch, so I can't verify the size of the larger pouches. This info may help:

20 round M16 magazine: 123 x 22 x 64mm (approx)
30 round M16 magazine: 182 x 22 x 64mm (approx)
Trangia mess tin: 165 X 90 X 65mm ( about 6.5" x 3.6" x 2.6")

I want to tackle the same problem and found this site with good dimensions. It looks like a triple M16 pouch won't quite cut it. Do scroll down to the ultility and medical pouches-- they will fit no problem and leave a little room for a snack bar, etc.
 
Thanks for the link. I measure my pouch but as you know, it's deceptive because pouches flex. I'll try to find scrap wood and make a tin size block.

I have the pouches on a drop leg panel with a Cold Steel SRK, but I do have one row of webbing between the two items that would allow an extra inch of a pouch.
