This is a bit unusual, but very nice. They did these leather inlays only with the Classic Sebenza, I believe. At least I have never seen a 21 with it. I think the leather inlays where available in brown and blue.

In terms of adding extra grip it is an interesting solution. No idea about the long term durability during everyday usage. Mine is kept in my collection. I would love to have it with damascus blade, as 90% of my collection Sebenza do have damascus blades. But as these leather inlayed Classic Sebenza do not appear for sale very often, I grabed this one and keep my eyes open for one with damascus blade.

I think Ice Man has one with damascus blade. Maybe he wants to show it here.

Wow! that looks so much nicer than the micarta. Practicality for daily use is another matter. Great knife!!!

Great pics!

I used to have the brown leather one, still have a few pics. If you like I'll show them here while we're waiting for Iceman to post his damascus one. :)

I love that. The blue leather is my favorite inlay. Maybe I'll find one some day...

@Stefan, great photos as always my friend! I believe leather would withstand daily use. However, I would avoid hard use though, as leather can rip or tear.. A good leather conditioner and cleaner might be a good idea for daily carry and use.

@LW we would love to see that brown leather. That brown leather would probably age better than the blue ones.

The damascus on yours is awesome!

As for mine, it was a user. These are the pics I showed when I offered it to someone as a trade. In this first pic, it''s the one on the left. You can easily see a scar in the leather, which didn't look like it took much of a gouge to cause. I think a set of keys sharing the pocket could make short work on the leather on these.

As you can see in this pic, the scar wasn't visible in all lights at all angles.

In these next few pics you can see handling marks and wear, but nothing drastic.

Yeah, it was off center. Probably pinched washers, but I never took it apart to look. In hindsight I probably should have, or sent it to the spa. I'm sure I could have gotten more for it if I had. :o

Still though, an interesting knife, and part of CRK history. I've only ever seen 4 of these, 3 of which are in this thread.

Thanks Z and LW for supporting this thread by sharing your pics! The damascus leather one looks fantastic and the brown leather one is also great!

#4?

I found this one at a knife shop when I was working out of state a few months back. That store seemed to just have an endless supply of hidden treasures. I need to make a trip back up there and do some more digging :)

Ya'll have some amazing pics by the way, I think these are the only 2 pics I have of mine.

Now 5. The other one I've seen is a brown one in much better condition than the one I had.
