These are the videos that got me into Busses.

Same here. Saw the videos (all of them), and started looking into Busse. That was a lot of money ago.

But, something about my FFBM just makes me smile. :D

Me too.
Himalayan Imports khukuri was the first destruction I saw. Soon after I found his website and saw the vids for the FFBM and the Scrapper 6.
I KNEW I had to have one of each!!
So far I have neither :( BUT I do have a CGDF, CGDM, Regulator and a Mud Puppy!
I have been calling the Yard home.

Say what you want about Noss and his methods relating to the destruction / testing of Busse knifes, but these videos rock and there is just something primal and gratifying about seeing the sheer amount of abuse Jerry's knives can take before reaching their breaking point - if they reach it!!!

Yup, it was his Skinny ASH-1 test that sold me on one. The amount of abuse that "skinny" knife took ... unbelievable. Stuff like this has given me the confidence that my Busse Combat knives will last me 'til the end of time, even if I treat 'em rough, and I'll likely never treat 'em nearly as rough as shown in those videos.

I know I sure love them.

I would never, never do that to any of my knives, unless a tank was stuck on my foot, or my wife and kids were trapped under a battleship or something.

Before his vids, I knew that the Infi was tough stuff.

What surprises on his video's are the comparisons to other expensive knives in "super steel", and how they stack up.

Another eye opener is how much some of the cheap knives take. The GI Tanto is one good example, as well as the CS machete.

I have to say, I was disappointed in the CR stuff.

Busse's are tough no two ways about it. That's why we're all here.;)

This is the video that sold me on Busse knives.

INFI and G10.....tough stuff:thumbup::thumbup:

Yep, same here. People have commented that his tests are not scientific but life isn’t scientific either. When I get stranded some place, I want a knife that will withstand everything I throw at it because I know that I will be abusing it to the max to do what ever needs to be done. Bought my first knife for the indestructibility and bought the rest because I like the way Jerry runs his business.

It's hilarious to watch him stop to catch his breath, while the FFBM just stares at him, saying "is that all you got?". Classic.

No, I don't think anyone should do that to these knives but it's still impressive what it can handle.

I would like to see some of the other knife manufacturers knives go through 1/4 of what the Busse's do.. unbelievable.. the power of INFI.. that FFBM finally dies after being beaten through a steel pipe weld spot.. But I think that must have been a fluke.. :)

There're other good reasons, too, but this is definitely one of the best.
