Hi,
I have had great results using White Lightning brand wax lubricant on my folding knives. I have this tiny little bottle and although I don't have to use it very often I am almost out of it (It lasted several years) and I wanted to see if anyone knows of this stuff and where I could get a larger-sized bottle than the 1/2 ounce or whatever.

You can get it at most REI stores. It's used as a bicycle chain lubricant.

Yep, most bicycle stores have it. I got it in a 4 oz bottle a long time ago.

I ordered the other night from a different company. Thank you for letting me know that the bike wax and the knife/multitool fluid are the same thing.
This bottle will last me longer

PS--I just got out my little bottle the other night to see if I could milk some more lube out of it and I noticed that there is a bunch of white wax in the bottom, all dried up. I ended up throwing it away. I wonder how it happened? The cap was on tight.

Sounds like you weren't shaking the bottle before using, the wax settles to the bottom if you don't.

Oh, I shook it all right. Every time I used it I shook it till it was frothy. Perhaps the problem was that I barely ever used it--it works so well that I almost never had to reapply it for months at a time!!
