Sugar – is a Sweet Dog that needs a home ASAP

Sugar missed getting a spot on the Urgent page back in March!! She has been here since 3/14 . She has been waiting patiently...

I will shower you with kisses. Promise. No, really! Waking up with my glass overflowing with love and energy each day, I am wiggle/jiggle central and am a HUGE people person.

"My number one goal in life is to please people and I so hate the fact that I can't focus more intently on this goal day to day behind my doggy jail cell bars. Come check me out soon, so I can get you moving on the walks I so adore and get you used to my intense lovin!'"

Due to a paper work problem she was passed over for adoption the first week so she will be put to sleep next week if we can’t find her a home – please pass this on and share with friends I have paid the remainder of her vet bill- and i will transport her if needed - just need to find her a home; permanent or foster or a rescue shelter

I hope you guys didn't mind me putting this here i asked around if one or two now and then would be ok to post here on the Cantina and a couple people told me they thought it would be fine.

I had been on the computer for hours trying to get the word out about her and a couple of others that need homes - i just have a feeling that she would make someone the greatest friend - she is the type that when she wags her tail, her whole body swings just wanting to be petted.
 
I hope you don't mind me posting here when I can't help with your endeavors, Eric, but I simply had to respond. I think this is the coolest stuff around, and I really admire your zeal for keeping these dogs from being euthanized and other worse fates, no strings attached. Awesome stuff, just had to say it. Thanks David - i figure it cant hurt to put a special dog up here every once in awhile- i have her info posted on a few website -there are so many that need homes - the estimates are that there are between 4 and 6 million dogs put to sleep every year in America. Spay and neuter is such a big deal these days that along with trying to regulate and enforce the laws on puppy mills.
 
Sugar is safe in a foster home and is being adopted

I just got off the phone with Celia from the shelter and she told me that they had found a foster to take care of her for just a week or two until she gets the adoption cleared and the foster fell completely in love with her so she has a new home
 
Cool, man, she looked like a bona fide sweetheart, I wish I could have taken her, but, I guess it would have been a real hassle trying to contain a delusional thirteen year old Buffy and a bratty, dumb little freak of a 5 year old Golden named Waffle *she's my dumb baby :)* from sniffing Sugar to death. Not that Sugar would have had a problem whooping both both of their sorry be-hinds, look at those armories she got in her legs and arms, she has guns! Haha, I'm just kidding, she looks almost too sweet to fight, an inquisitive face, which I like...oh well, I guess I am stuck looking at THIS!

Haha, sweet little buggers, can't get enough of them. If anyone loves cute animals, I HIGHLY recommend cuteroulette.com . It is the stuff. Enough said. Peace.
 
David - I am sure your dogs love you and are grateful to be a part of your family. There are so many that do not or never will know the love of a family.
