I've had this little knife for awhile but only recently learned that it has a 'dog bone' bolster. It is a marked Schmidt and Peters, New York, Germany. It has ivory scales and promotes a famous champagne house. Made c1891-1900.

Great looking knife SK, once again you show up with the most unique knife in the house..

When I read the title I thought I was going to see a knife with either dog bone handles (as in handle material), or one that had been chewed by a dog. I'm glad to see it was something different. ;)

Nice knife, too!
