Received my Desert Dog Father and Tigerhide Hack in the mail Yesterday.
Thank you everyone at Busse who made it happen that quick.

So after taking a photo of it in brand new condition with the sheath I received
the very same Day...

That log was 6 inches wide of Oak and the DF ate right through. Did all my
work with no gloves the first time to really feel it and even got bit once,
Now it's MINE.

I'll take some pics of the Hack soon but they just won't have the flavor of these.

Cool pics...makes me wish I went through and got one. I just couldn't pull the trigger.

As a side note, you sure thats oak? Looks like locust to me

Not for sure about the wood but It came out of my dad's back yard and the guy we hired to help us cut them down thought they were oak as well. It is heavy, like the red oak wood I have bought recently.

Yeah, you're definitey not choppin' through 6" of oak With a Hack!!! Let me know how you like the Hack......I didn't score one in the Ganza. Got some other goodies....but no Hack:(

My DDF came in today, and I'm already working on a kydex sheath for it. My third kydex sheath ever! They ain't no Buy Brown, but they do the job.

Hey, for the Hack, show it batoning a block of cheese!

We don't get enough pics of cheese disassembly here!

Yeah, really didnt matter either way lol :p

Locust is really heavy too though...and bark looked like it. Oh well :D:thumbup:

Heard a couple questions about thickness, my DF measures in at .284 at the handle junction and thumb ramp point on my digital micrometer.
