Dog named after knives?

I know I might get bashed for asking this question.......
But I've got to know.... (I guess I'm curious)
Has anyone her ever named their dog or cat or even hamster, gerbil, lizard, turtle, etc.... after anything knife related, like Moran, Sebbie, Mayo, etc? etc......
 
I was going to name a stray I adopted (but had to give up) 'Buck' but since he already was used to being called 'Harry', I let 'Harry' stand. My longtime 4-footed friend 'Clyde' was called that because at the same time I had a Scottie called 'Bonnie'... go figure.
 
Not yet, but not a bad idea.:cool:

Now I have a reason to get another dog.:D
 
I've started calling one of my wife's cats "Cyclone" after my favorite Kershaw folder. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but so be it.:D.:D.

I like pet names that you can yell at the top of your voice in the neighborhood when you are trying to get them indoors for the night.:D

Example, names like Mr. Fluffy just don't cut it.:D

My dog is named Remington. After the character from the movie Ghost and the Darkness (my father said the pup had lion tear eyes, thought Ghost and the Darkness, and thought of Michael Douglas' character). Remington the dog is a ballsy, loveable fraidy cat, who barks at his own voice when it echoes back to him (drives him nuts sometimes), but hey, its a cool name for a good friend. I've got a picture of Remington wearing a Remington hat somewhere, taken when he was a baby. He has probably almost doubled in size by now, all muscle.

Thats why my 21lb. killing machine of a cat is named Genghis Khan .
I gotta admit, I feel kinda nerd-like standing on the front porch yelling "KHAAAAANN!!" Like I should be living in my moms basement watching Star Trek.:D

My daughter named our yellow lab "Daisy". Now I gotta tell everyone she was named after the BB gun, not the flower :rolleyes: :p .
 
i had a dog named MOPAR -she was wonderful

my dog roscoe p is named after the sheriff from dukes of hazard -
