Dog neck knife: Anyone have any input?

I was perusing through eBay looking at knives and ran across something that got my attention. I've never seen this knife or this brand. I highly suspect it is Chinese in origin, they AUS-8a steel but you never can tell how accurate that is. I like the looks of the thing.

What do you all think? It's a waist of time and money? Worth a shot? Your insane, that looks like a turd ?

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I won't go there. My main concern is that it looks like there's no place for the heal of your palm to rest for cutting tasks.
