One of my favorite pix form this fall so far, thought I'd share it with you folks.
This is Radar tuning in his radar outside of Grand Rapids MN. Moments after the pic I was following this beast through there in a effort to fill my coat with grouse. Only shot one but I hit it twice.
After two days my legs were rubber, nerves frayed, and the trigger finger had a scary itch.
Living up to his name Radar honed in on 22 birds over the two days, the cover was thick though. I could only hear most of them flush out as I walked in on the point, didn't even get a glimpse of them. Others seemed to be wearing Kevlar. The rest I just couldn't get my gun up in the cover. Fun and frustrating all at once.
Thanks for looking and have a good weekend.
