Since it's basically a rehandled TGM how's everyone liking there's in comparison to the M or full size tglb ?

It's very fast handling. Light, but substantial, extremely sharp.

It should make an excellent camp knife. You should be able to do everything with it except heavy chopping. It's just not big enough for that. It would be good to baton smaller stock, feather sticks, cut rope, pry, stab open cans, etc. Just doesn't have enough body to chop wood up

If I didn't have to give up 3 cool-guy-points, I would trade my TG-M for a Dog Soldier. I don't mind the double guard but I love Res-C.

I don't have a TGM but I do have a BGTG. It's faster handling and handles really well. I wanted a TG-M until I got a DS. The DS is much more of a user knife for general tasks than the TG is, and the TG-M suffers the same problems as the TG but they are magnified by the shorter blade if one wants to cut against a flat surface using the belly of the knife.

The TG is a better solution if chopping is in the list of needs.
