Dog update

Got Luna's biopsy results the other day. The growth was malignant. Monday we're taking her to an oncologist. Praying the first Doc got the whole thing out. For now she seems pretty chipper, even with the cone on her head. I think we're more worried about the quality of her life than the length of her life. Time will tell. Thanks for keeping our goofy girl in your thoughts.

i know what you are going thru, i just brought Blue in last thursday for a lumpectomy, they're sending it off to the lab & i'm nervous about the results which are due end of next week. burnin' a bit of incense for both of us...

blue made a move to lick his bandages, so he got the cone-head. greyhounds heads are smaller than their necks, so it fell off. he tried again so i tied it on with some gauze. still felll off. after the third try & third falling off, he seemed to get the message & has not tried licking or removing it since. cone is sitting on the coffee table as a reminder.

I still remember the 2 cockatiels that my family have lost.....:( heart breaking.....:(
 
Fingers are crossed and prayers still going out! Hope Luna isn't suffering. :thumbup:

I,m hoping everything turns out all right . My own muttly gave me a scare the last couple of days . He,s alright and I,m sure yours will too .
 
Prayers out for both doggies. Buddy has developed a couple of lumps that I'm going to have checked out... but it must wait until we get to Florida in May. I hate to wait... but I don't think I could get anything done until I relocate.

update: My Blue had his stitches out today, all is healing well, test results back from lab are that the tumor was benign & should not be back. Hoorah!:) :)
