Dogfather or HI kuhkri?

There are a trillion flavors of HI Khukuris and only two Dogfathers. Both Aunt Yangdu and Dan and Patti are great people who love knives and stand behind their products.

You've asked a question that's tough to answer "right," but one that's impossible to get wrong. Research the khukuris to find the one that fits best with your wants, capabilities, and limitations and get that and several others and then get the Dogfather, too.
 
I know they are both choppers but that is about the only think they have in common. They both will get the job done. I Have a Dog father and i also have a few different HI's I really like my HI Boomerang a lot. There is nothing wrong with my Dog Father it just is pretty plain and 100% user. The HI's on the other hand have a little more personality IMO. I bought one Dog Father and am happy with it and don't plan to buy another unless something happens to the one I have. But the HI's on the other hand i always want another. I really like the Bonecutter models that have been up lately and also the true villagers.
 
Considered this a few months back, opted for a Battle Rat (similar to the Dog Father).
 
Both are great, both are reliable, same guarantee.

I think the HI are easier to get.

Otherwise, wich one do you think look the best? Because for similar performances it counts.
 
Nothing will outchop the right Khuk but over all the DF might be a better multi purpose knife
