A storm blew down some big branches over at my parents' house this weekend. Did some choppin' with my Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House khukuri before using the chainsaw on the big stuff. This thing is a beast.

Size comparison with Himalayan Imports khukuri

You're comparing sizes between two different size khukuri with vastly different uses.
HI makes all models in various different sizes.
The Chitlangi is not a chopper, it is a fighter. It should not be used for chopping wood.

I meant no offense, Karda. I took that pic because those are the only 2 khukuris I own. I love my HI and was not saying the other one is superior in any way.

I just wanted to clear up any misconception for others, philllll. No problem.

To be honest the fit & finish on my HI is far superior to my EGKH. But like you said, that model is not made for chopping. I have no qualms beating the crap out of the EGKH. The Chitlangi is just too pretty.

That Ex-Gurkha Khukuri is sweet. Looks like you can do some real damage with it. How thicks the blade?
