....because this is my second Dozier Workhorse folder. Had one a few months ago and in one of "those" fits I sold it and it now resides in Germany...where it is much appreciated! I wanted one of the newer model WH's because Bob had upgraded them a little bit by going to a thicker tab-lock liner, from .050" to .090". While the thinner lock locked up the old WH like a rock, the thicker liner does the same. I think the blade thickness has been increased from .188" up to .200" but it is the same D2 for which Bob is famous and I can attest that even a thick .200" blade can have a shaving sharp edge. For a big knife it rides well and due it's flatness and overall thickness of .63", it does not print in your pocket and all you can really see is the clip and a very little of the top part of the frame. Weight is around 9 ounces, and again it still rides well with a pocket clip even though it is weighty.

Nice Dozier. I've got a few and really appricate them. I've got to feed them regularly or they start looking at me wierd. :)

Bob really does make a super nice folder, only problem is that he does not make enough! I'm glad to see that he has begun to make the folding hunter in a larger size with a 4.0" blade. His Trappers are another super nice knife and I'm thinking about ordering one with the larger blade and some nice linen micarta for handles. Another thing I really like about Bob's folders are the THICK liners he uses. Lockup is extremely secure on these folders.

Any other Dozier fans out there? Feel free to post some pics!! Folders or Fixed blades

Yep, Bob makes a great knife, folder or fixed. He does amazing things with D2, currently the only piece I have is a Personal which I tend to carry in my weak side pocket. I have been eying his folders since NYCCKS too, really nice work. Just wish I hade money to pick one up today at ECCKS, as other than shows I have heard they are pretty hard to get as he doesn't make enought of them and isn;t taking orders for them at the moment. :(
