Well, today I decided to fix the lock-up on my Titanium Military.
It was at 100% engagement, and had some lock-rock (vertical play), but I don't like sending my stuff off to be serviced.
So, with a bit of work using an anvil, a C-clamp, an old center punch and a 3 pound sledge, I peened it to give the lock-up I wanted.
It now sits at 75% engagement, with more solid lock-up than when new. I bent the lock-bar further to increase tension as well.
No wiggle, solid lock-up, and practically impossible to flick...just the way I like it.

And if the 3-pound sledge didn't work, a 6 pounder would almost certainly fix any problem.

If at first you don't succeed, grab a bigger hammer.:D
If I can borrow a camera sometime, I'll get some pictures. With the dent being where it is, it doesn't affect the looks, just the function.
Hell, I have a custom frame-lock where it came new from the maker with a peen of this nature to get the lock-up the way he wanted; that's where I learned this trick from. A peening in one areas pushes material elsewhere...you just have to place it correctly.
