Doing some research

Hello everyone,

I am a brand new member. I became a member because I am doing some research and need some answers.
I have a [maker name removed] knife. I would like to know the value of it and from the research I have done it appears he is out of business and no longer making knives. Is that true? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
