Domestic Manners of the Americans: Case Large Texas Toothpick (610098 SS)

Good review.

I have always had the feeling that the toothpick was some distant cousin of the French knife. Just too similar in profile. With the toothpick being from the deep south, and old New Orleans being such a rich French culture, it's just too much of a coincidence.

Knives, history, literature; well presented with good music (what was that anyway). In our southern patois "don't get no better than that."

Thank you,
Tom

Unfortunatley I can't watch the review due to my super slow internet connection but I'm glad to see toothpicks getting a little more love around hear I've always felt they were an excellent pattern that fills a great niche in the slipjoint world.

Nice review of the knife.
Nice history lesson.

Thanks for posting that.
