Mr. Fennell,

Could you please tell me the blade thickness, and handle slab thickness on the Dominator? I am thinking of ordering one, and I am curious as to the ruggedness of the knife. Also, could you post a pic of the frame lock in the open position, It would be worth a 1000 words. :D

catmath,
Blade thickness is .125", frame is .140", and here is a really bad pic;)

catmath 1911 - Have no fear on the lock up. This knife came from DDR who has set an extremely high standard when it comes to linerlock/frame lock. The Madd Maxx has been tested thorouoghly and is considered to be one of the strongest locks. Same design principals went into the Dominator's lock. That's what I know from Darrel. I can tell you my Dominator locks up like a vault and hasn't failed any of my spine whack tests. You will be VERY pleased with this knife!

In fact, it has been referred to as "The folding fixed blade". Now if I could only remember who coined that phrase.
