Dominator problem

Well, I've had my Dominator about a week, and it's developed a problem: The blade has begun to rub the handle opposite the frame-lock, and it has developed a fairly significant amount of lateral blade play. Adjusting the pivot screw does not help. Looks like the culprits may be the white nylon washers used in the pivot are too soft, or have bad tolerances.

Anyone else having similar problems? I'm probably going to ship it back to Camillus. I'd like to find some bronze oil-lite washers (same as what Benchmade is currently using).

Cool, thanks for the tip...I'll look into that when it comes back from Camillus...

I've used the 3/16 phospher/bronze on the Maxx's , and the Aftermath with great results.

dano,

yeah.

i have the same thing, -with- the bronze washers.

i'm wondering (see my other thread) whether the closed-stop-pin (the one adjacent to the pivot pin) is a hair too long, or the countersink in the slabs wasn't deep enough.

that would make the pivot not be able to tighten down around the washers and blade.
