Hello Bladeforum Members!!! I just received my Dominator after reading about it. Myself being a framelock lover, this one was a must. Well it arrived and here's my story. First of all, I love the bead-blasted handle. It fits my hand well and is comfortable in forward or reverse grip. The blade length is great. I prefer blade lengths of 3.5 inches to 4 inches. That 3.6 works well for me. When I practice my thrusts and slashes, the knife doesn't slip when my hands sweat. It rides low in my pocket for great concealability. Tip up carry would have been great. That's just my preference but it doesn't take away from the knife. Here is my problem. When the lock engages, there is a very small amount of vertical blade play. I really hate that. Does this go away? When I push on the lock it goes away so I hope as the lock breaks in, it goes away. The Robo assist is rather hard to move with my index finger and it takes some effort to get it to move. When it does move and the assist mechanism takes over, the blade stops and doesn't lock open. I used my thumb to press on the thumbstuds and I nearly cut myself. The thumbstuds are not there for opening the blade, they are just stoppers. In order to cure to remedy this, I loosened up the blade tension screw in order to fix this problem, it helped a little bit but I got blade play from side to side. I worked with it all night but the problem still exists. Here is what I desire: I want the Robo Assist to be easy to move and I want the blade to lock open fully without side to side or vertical blade play. I need your help on this one. Email me at mookjong5@yahoo.com. Thanks
