I was researching a couple of folding knife options and the Dominator made the short list of BM 806D2, BM710M2 or the Dominator. I was leaning more toward the Dominator until I read some very disturbing posts on the blade and it being offset. Does anyone know if this problem is rectified? Is there a break point or a serial number where the problem has been resolved? I've own BM products for a while and was thinking of getting something else. I bought an Emerson Raven, but it was even delivered before I was shopping again. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think there were ever more than a few off-center blades. Mine was an early one and it came perfectly centered. I wouldn't worry about QC issues at this point. Pick whichever design you like the best; they're all excellent.

I'd have to agree with Bob Q on this issue. I have
an A.G. Russell non assisted Dominator and find it
to be excellent in all regards. What impresses me
most about is that when locked it becomes a
"folding" fixed blade it's so solid!! :D

Thanks for the feed back - glad to hear it was on some of the earlier models only. Sure looks pretty on paper, never had the chance to see one in person.
