I've seen many posts about problems with Dominators. Are these problems being corrected? How are the latest ones? Any feedback on the MA model? What material are they using for washers? Thanks.

I've owned a MA Dominator for about three months now. It came problem free. Last week I got a Robo-Dominator. It too, came problem free. The washers appear to be teflon and I have no blade play on either model. My only gripe is that I have the same type of thumb studs/blade stops that the Robo version has. You don't need them on the Robo, but you do need them on the MA. I think I'm just going to file them down a bit to get some texturing on them. They are way too smooth right now. I can't wait until the Heat comes out. In case anyone hasen't heard, the Heat is the latest version of the Dominator. :)

Had an early one that had terrible blade wobble and an off0center blade. After UPS losing the replacement/reapired knife for 2+months, finally received a corrected Dominator, nad it's perfect in ever respect. A very well made and welld esigned knife!

Teflon washers? Why would anybody want teflon washers in their knife? Every knife I've owned that had teflon or composite washers in them developed a spongy side to side blade feel and if you tried to tighten them up they just got sticky feeling, not smooth. Too Bad.

The Robo doesn't need a blade stop?

StJames, I'm sorry. I meant that you don't need to use the studs on the Robo version because the assisted mechanism propels the blade open when you push lightly on the "choil". On the MA version, pushing the "choil" doesn't open the blade on my knife all the way to the locked position.
