Domino Adjustments

1- what is the proper way to adjust a Spyderco clip. Obviously, I can just bend it out and trial and error until right. Is there anything more precise? Should I remove clip first? Not sure if I should be concerned about little screws.

2- my domino cf scales. Around the screws appear like cf thread strands. I have just cut them off, will these stop popping up over time, or can I remove the scale and taper the holes, and if so with what..drill bit?
 
Another alternative to bending the clip, is replace it with one that will work better for you. Check out MXG Gear. They make awesome clips for Spydercos. Short, long, deep carry, big, minimal, etc. I have one on my Domino and love it.

You may still have to bend them out a bit if you want a lose fit. Depending on the style you choose, they may work better with thick pocket material. The design of a deep carry clip tends to be more flexible. Over time, however, any clip will loosen up a little. What is the issue that you are experiencing?
 
the MXG clips are vary well made,although the titanium they use is a bit thicker then most other clips out there,but work nicely.

Thanks for the MXG suggestion!! As soon as my Cruwear Para2 arrives, I will be placing an order!! Kinda liking the shortie clip!! Maybe one for the Delica and Leek too!!! John
 
After further review, I found that the clip tightness is not really the main issue. It was really just clipping to pants. Do comparing this clip to that of my pm2, I've found it is that very end opening that did not allow it to slide over lip of pocket without pulling the clip out. So I removed and just carefully made s minor adjustment. All is good.
