I was recently jonesing on a Domino and was thinking about getting one but was just recently at shot show and saw a Domino in person and thought the blade was a bit to wide for me. Does anyone have a comparison pic or a Domino with a Mantra or even a Sage variant. thanks.
And thanks to the young lady behind the counter who showed me her personal Sage.

i think of my domino as a scaled down manix 2! i really never carry the manix because its to large in pocket, but on the other hand my domino feels just about right,i will say its as large as i'm willing to carry though,i have had these three about the same amount of time, and use the domino the most,i would call it a mid-size folder that seems just right for me)and a vary fine knife at that.

I was surprised when I first saw the Sage. I thought it'd be smaller, but it's almost the same size as Domino. Domino has a bit more blade but Sage has a wider handle.

You may well be aware of this AT but, something to keep in mind, the Sage 3 has a taller/wider handle than the other Sages. Although, looking at the full-sized pics in the catalog it still appears that the Domino might not be as wide as any of the Sages. It's hard to tell since the Domino's handle is a little different shape.

I went through a similar decision process a few months ago. I wanted to try a Spydie flipper and I considered all the options. I wanted to try a Domino and was thinking hard about the blue or red weave CF (not a big fan of the Cosby sweater CF). Ultimately, I decided against the Domino since I already had a bunch of Sages. I ended up with the Mantra and I've been very pleased. I love the size, it's fairly light, extremely smooth, the thin blade flies out with a light Spydie flick, a lot of edge for its size, and the M4 steel takes a great edge.

Nope, I didn't realize that. Good to know. Thank you. Nice Sage collection. Your photo is making me consider Sage 5 for the first time.
