does anyone know if the clip for the domino has the same hole pattern as the standard spyderco clip, it appears so to me. I am wondering because the domino clip seems to be a bit more matte in color and I think it would look nice with the all black PM2 I have.

Yes, it has the same "spoon" clip as various other models .

^^^^^ In regards to the hole pattern.

I guess it depends on what other clip you are comparing to, but the Domino clip has slightly smaller screws and also holes for the screws than most other typical hourglass clips.

I followed the link Spyderco Dude put up, and I called the SFO and the lady on the phone said the only options she has for replacement PM2 clips were the shiny black and the satin, so I am just confused. Is this not something that has been told to everyone at the SFO or do they really not offer a matte finish. Im just wondering.

Apparently they have some new staff so it's possible she was confused. It's also possible that the clip I've ordered will be shiny. Once it arrives I'll post some more pictures for you guys.

No, the Taiwan made knives like Domino, Dice Szabo uses metric screws...the holes on a domino clip is actually smaller...so if you try installing a Domino clip onto a para2, your para 2 screws won't fit thru the hole...

As for pattern, it's not same...the two outer holes on the Dom is slightly wider. Maybe because the holes are smaller..you cannot tell by looking...the difference is very mininum..

That's what I was trying to say above...

They are easy enough to drill out slightly though.

Hmmm much appreciated on the hole difference issue guys, also spyderco dude that would be awesome if you could give me an update once you get yours. Thanks for all the info guys

Old clip is still installed in this pic. The new one isn't as matte as I thought it would be but it's definitely less shiny than the original. I was having some trouble photographing the difference.

They might refer to that as Satin.
Please keep us posted on how it holds up to wear and tear around the edges. :)
