Spyderco Domino won't center

Like a fool i decided to disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble a perfectly functioning Domino.
Now i can't center the blade and the action is super slow, I can't even get the flipper to open the knife consistently.
Now keep in mind, this was about midnight last night after a 16 hour day, but i thought i saw two (2) pieces of washer on each side but when reassembling i only saw one (1) piece.
I used ballistol, maybe not the best lubricant, but it should work in a pinch.
What have i done wrong, other than mess with a perfectly fine knife?

Dissemble the knife again. Make sure the washers are in right. Put the pivot back together and make sure that everything is firmly together before putting the screw back in. Make sure everything is seated right.

Thanks man.
Not perfect, but close enough and can spideyflick if I concentrate really hard.

The washers cup on this model. Not sure if that's the problem with centering but there are many methods of getting a knife to center to try.

But for the action itself is most likely due to cupped washers because you took it apart and when you put the pivot back in you probably tightened it too much and cupped them. Known issue. You can see what spyderco can do in warranty about that. Iirc they will fix it once but don't adjust the pivot again. There are some sources of hardened washers out there to replace the thin ones that cup. Hard to find but iirc there is a post somewhere on bf of someone that was offering them a few years ago.

Oh man, wish i had known that before putting the torque wrench on it!
Oh well, it is working fairly well right now.
Maybe i can get some washers here:

Defintely cupped.

I couldn't leave well enough alone so i just removed them. Blade is centered and action is just as good as having washers, albeit the cupped ones.
Replacing the washers might bring it back to it's glory though.

Yeah you'll definitely want to put washers back in, you don't want steel bearings wearing against titanium in the long run. If all else fails send it back to Spyderco.
