Just got this Domino in today and haven't stop playing with it. I'm so used to the PM2 that I reach for the compression lock lol. But man this thing is a really nice flipper. So smooth, no play anywhere and the lockup is like a vault. I'm really liking the Ti frame lock. I got the blue g10 with CTS-204P steel and its lazer sharp. This sucker just may have surpassed the PM2 as my favorite Spydie. Well a regular PM2 that is not my Ti one.

And some blue scales with a G3

That's a really nice one! The 204P versions seem even thinner ground, but that could be my imagination.

Not sure how thin it is but looks thinner then the PM2 with CTS-XHP. Should make for a burtual slicer.

Ive a 204P Domino as well. And love it.
An awesome design by Eric Glesser.
The Domino is one of those "flawless" models imo...

I had a Domino and got rid of it, but it was a great knife. Now I want another one.

How's the frame lock? I've always stuck with the para 2 because of the compression lock.

The Domino and it's little brother, the Dice are two really great models. The frame lock has some really nice thumb jimping, so it's really easy to engage. Definitely top 5 Spyderco to me.

Rock solid no play. To a few tries (I'm used to the compression lock) kept reaching for where it would be on the PM2.

Not as aggressive as the PM2 jimping but it works well here. I like the choil.
PM2, Domino and D-fly are my top three.

Yeah, she's a beaute. This blue weave Domino was my first Spyder.

So you can guess what it did to my wallet after that. [emoji56]

And they keep grabbing my attention. In fact I have a PITS and a couple others lingering in a shopping cart as I type this. Crap. And I really want the blue Ti Chaparral, just can't bring myself to pay that much more than the Chap one.

I just recently picked up a Domino also. What's not to like:
-Titanium scales & carbon fiber laminate over titanium on 1 side for better grip
-flipper that actually works
-super smooth deployment
-Spydie hole fully accessible from either side for additional opening options
-really nice balance and feel in hand

I love my Domino. One of my favorite Spyderco knives. The flipper is excellent but opening with the spydie hole is just as smooth. I find myself opening it both ways.

I have the bento and the blue weave, still thinking about picking up the red weave but there is so many good spydies coming out soon...aghhhh.

What's the super tiny knife called? That looks smaller than the dragonfly. Also, what's the knife called which is 3 left from the top. It's narrow and sharp. Looks like a mean slicer

I had an early Domino and later got the 204P. 204P was much thinner ground. Easily one of the thinnest ground production knives I've seen. Maybe the standard Domino is the same now...I don't know. As I said, mine was from the first run.

The tiny guy is the Bug, smallest of the Bug Series, Bug, Honey Bee, and Grasshopper. I've gone through over a dozen Honey Bee's... I glue on a clip and give them as gifts as Tie Clips. The little slicer above the Domino is the Positron. Great little knife overall, but horrible flipper for a bearing pivot design. Took a couple mods to make it comfortable, but now a fantastic light gentleman's carry.

My first Spyderco was a Domino clone when i was still a bit naive about how bad the counterfeit dilemma really is in the resale market online. Fortunately the seller gave me a full refund because it was obvious even to an untrained eye, it even said "Taichunc" instead of the g on the end. Strangely though i loved the ergonomics and flipper feel so much i picked up the real Taichung made Dice, and then just recently the new PM2 M4 Carbon Fiber. So the bug got me now because I want the REAL cts-204 Domino pretty bad. The clone has been turned into a pretty good practice knife for the waterstones. These are great for daily users. I cut up hundreds of delivery boxes, plastic and foam displays and such in the retail environment. Im interested to see how the M4 will "petina"

yep, thats what the domino did for me to!replaced my PM2 for pocket time,i have the CTS-XHP version for witch i shortly replaced its scale with something more pleasing and grip,my i add! i think its spyderco's finest flipper to date, only my thought though, probably people that disagree.
